The nature of secondary and post secondary programs is varied enough to require our staff to customize eXcelerate to fit the needs of individual programs. Therefore the standard umbrella of eXcelerate and its modifications are personally designed and approved by Diane Hochstein, Chief Educational Officer, of Bridges LearningSystems.
eXcelerate is a cognitive and perceptual development program designed specifically to help learners acquire and strengthen the skills essential to all learning; cognition, visual information processing, and auditory information processing. These skills allow learners to acquire information, manage and organize information, access information, and apply information to specific situations.
The competent application of these skills is manifested in such essential aptitudes as attention, memory, rule following, symbol-decoding, contextual reasoning, comparison/contrast thinking, and problem-solving. In turn, these essential aptitudes empower learners’ mastery of reading, spelling, mathematics and other basic and advanced curriculum.
